Kepodang and Ketapang field ready for production in 2014


Kepodang gas field with 116 million cubic feet per day (MMscfd) and Bukit Tua Field (Ketapang) with 50 million MMscfd of natural gas and 20,000 barrels per day of oil, ready for production in 2014.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Jero Wacik at a press conference after receiving Petronas CEO on May 9, 2012, said that “After recount by Petronas, Kepodang and Ketapang scheduled to be ready for production in October 2014, ahead of the previous plan of April 2015″.

Related to Kepodang pipe that had problem, Jero Wacik said, Bakrie has sent a letter to the Minister stating his willingness to complete pipeline project in conjunction with Petronas readiness to start production.
