LNG Recruitment Group specialises in the recruitment of Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management personnel for the LNG, oil & gas and mining sectors. Our EPCM client is currently searching for an NDE Inspector for a multi billion dollar oil & gas construction project.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- 10-15 years experience in Oil & Gas Construction & fully conversant with NDE, process piping, pressure vessels & structural steel work
- Previous experience with AUT, TOFF
- Experience with applicable Australian and international codes and standards
- Qualifications in ACIP - (Certified pressure equipment inspector in WA)
- Previous experience working on an LNG project
- Excellent report writing skills
- Qualified to ASNT levell II in UT, RT, MT & PT (or equivalent) in accordance with ASNT, AIDNT or PCN
- Excellent hourly rates
- 12 Monthly Contracts – Renewable
- Favourable FIFO roster
- Very large EPCM project experience
- Provide support to all site contractors to ensure NDE is carried out in accordance with project codes, standards, specifications and procedures
- Attend site, fabrication yards & their subcontractors / vendors shops & carry out inspection if required of sample completed welds for verification purposes & documentation of same
- Witness, as required, operator proficiency testing
- Audit / review of NDE documentation systems, certification and training records - ensuring accuracy and full traceability back to inspected items
- Develop and manage surveillance programs on contractors for all NDE activities - with monthly reporting on same
